Unidentified Landscapes
I began to paint these landscapes for a featured artist show at the artist cooperative gallery I am a part of.
I had previously explored this method of mixed media with sumi-ink, watercolor, pencil and pen on paper in 2017 in more abstract forms. For the show, I focused more on depicting the landscapes that are familiar in the Mendocino Coast area, but still keeping them as ambiguous locations. These are the sea, mountains, and terrains of unidentified locations that may or may not exist.
This is an ongoing series. Please contact Northcoast Artists Gallery for available pieces.
